The beta
Try new features early with the beta build, and how to go back to the stable app.
The beta is a test version of the Android app. It gets new features before everyone else. It is tested less, so it may have the odd problem. Use it only if you don't mind that, and tell us what you find.

Get the beta
There are two ways:
- From the download site: when there is a beta that is newer than the stable app, downloads.scrapex.ubaidbinwaris.com (opens in a new tab) shows it under Download the beta, with New in this beta. Download and install it like the normal app (see Install the Android app). It installs over your current app and keeps your data.
- In the app: in recent versions, open Account, scroll to App updates and turn on Get beta versions. The updater then also offers beta builds that are newer than the stable one. The setting is only on this phone, and it is off unless you turn it on.
When a beta is offered, the update window shows "(beta)" after the version number.
Leave the beta
- Turn off Get beta versions. You are offered the next stable version when it is newer than the beta you have.
- To go back to the stable version straight away, install the stable build from the download site. If Android says the version is older than the one installed, uninstall the app first. You will need to sign in again.
