Market prices
Prices per kg from real deals and listings near you, with an 8-week trend.
Market prices show what scrap is selling for, per kg, based on real deals and listings on Scrap Exchange near you. Use them to price your listing or decide on an offer.
Works in:Android appWeb app
Open market prices
- Web app: select Market prices in the menu.
- Android app: tap Local prices in Quick actions. The Home screen also shows Today's rates per kg.
Choose the area
- Area: Near me or All Pakistan.
- Distance: for Near me, within 10, 25, 50, 100 or 200 km.
- Compare over: 7, 30 or 90 days, for the price change.
Near me uses the location saved in your profile. Select Use where I am now (or Update my location) to use where you are right now instead. If there are no deals or listings in your area yet, try a wider distance or Show all Pakistan.
What each price is based on
Each material shows where its price comes from, from the most to the least reliable:

|---|---|
| Median of completed deals | The middle price of real deals in the area. The best guide. |
| Median asking price of listings | The middle price sellers are asking now, when there aren't enough deals. |
| Reference price (no local trades yet) | A standard price range for the material, when there is no local activity yet. |
For each material
- The price per kg now.
- The change over the period you chose, or "Not enough deals" when there is too little to compare.
- The reference range, for example "Rs. 900 to 1,200/kg".
- How many active listings there are.
- Weekly deal price (last 8 weeks): a chart of the median deal price per week. Select a week to see its price and how many deals it is based on.
