Recycling scrap saves energy and avoids CO2 compared with making new material. My recycling impact shows what your deals have saved, and lets you share a certificate that anyone can check.

See your impact
- Web app: open Learn, then Your impact (Details and calculator).
- Android app: open Learn, then the impact section.
Your lifetime impact is worked out from your completed deals:
- CO2 avoided, with comparisons: like a number of trees growing for a year, or the same CO2 as driving a distance by car;
- energy saved, also shown as days of power for a home;
- CO2 avoided by material: which materials made the biggest difference.
Try the calculator
Under Impact calculator, add the scrap you plan to recycle (material and weight) to see what it would save. You can add several materials.
Get your certificate
You can get a certificate once you have completed your first deal.
- On your impact page, under Impact certificate, select Get my certificate.
- Share the picture of your certificate, or copy the verification link.
Anyone with the verification link can open a page that shows the numbers on your certificate, so they can check it is real and wasn't edited. It shows only your first name and last initial, for example "Ali K.".
